Warrnambool Moyne Economic Development and Investment Strategy (2010)
Warrnambool City, together with Moyne Shire is the regional centre for Victoria's south west.
The Strategy is focussed to provide a projects-based framework to facilitate economic development and investment over the next twenty years and beyond.
The challenge for the Strategy will be to add value to the region's significant energy and agricultural resources and to provide a sustainable future for Warrnambool and its region.
Key Themes:
- clear statement of economic context, community and business values;
- economic development and strategic directions for sustainable investment and growth;
- projects based strategy to most effectively advance the region;
- implementation framework for Warrnambool and Moyne municipalities identifying actions to facilitate projects.
